Network marketing is certainly a legitimate business model. The opportunity will encourage you to build and manage your own network of sales force by recruiting and motivating, supplying and training others to sell the products or services. A percentage based on the sales of your network would be your compensation, in addition to your personal sales.
Although it is possible to build a successful networking business with minimal start up capital, keep in mind that it is not a “get rich quick” scheme. Successful distributors, who have recruited and trained a large network of distributors, also assume the responsibilities of a network leader at the same time making periodically personal sales to their own retail customers. Having such a large network can be lucrative, but it is hard work and can become a full-time career.
However, the very first factor that will determine your success is determining which company you choose to align yourself with. Be sure to give this thought the consideration it deserves. First you must consider the reputation of the company you will be dealing with. Some distributors choose to go with an established company that has been around for some time. Others may choose to go with a relatively new company with an established reputation. If you want to try a brand new company, do as much background research as you can.
