Instead of managing your people, leaders encourage team building spirit. The network marketing business is built on the foundation of helping other people in order to secure one’s success. This is a win-win business arrangement.
Every individual is an independent business owner; you are not under the employment of the company that you represent nor your sponsor. Since everyone is independent, and you as a sponsor or upline, you should not try to manage them. Managing them is using authority or position.
Encouraging team building is leadership by example as you are also involved. You’ll be working together with the group to achieve a collective goal. However to get a group of people to work together is not going to be easy because every individual will have their own opinion and expectations. Cooperation and understanding are of top priority.
