When you start building your network marketing business you are bound to meet people who will turn you down at the very first instant. These people are normally very straight forward and they don’t want to waste your time and theirs, obviously these people doesn’t understand network marketing.
But sometimes you may have some friends who might not want to turn you down when you approach them. They are the nicest people you have ever known and they feel that it is not too nice to say “No” to you.
If you invite them to a meeting, they will probably say “Yes” to you. They will promise you that they will be there at your meeting when you invite them. They might show interest and are happy that you want to share the opportunity to them.
They will not show up at your functions, some will take the trouble to call you that they couldn’t make it due to some unforeseen circumstances and some others couldn’t be much bother.
Many of these well meaning friends and relatives are deceiving you and giving you false hope. They will give you all sorts of reasons and the next thing you know is that they will be watching their favorite TV program at their home and you will be calling them every time when you have a meeting and they will never come.
If you have encountered these people, you go to them. At the very least you can find out whether they are your genuine prospects. If not, sell them some products; convert them into your customers. Just let them go as they are not ready yet, don’t waste your time. Move on.
