Blogging has become a phenomenon with more then 50 million bloggers posting well over 100 millions blogs and it is doubling every six months. The figures are staggering and you can virtually find blogs that talks about any subject that you can think off.
I first came to know about the word “blogging” in a Singaporean movie, “I am not stupid too 2” and thought that it was something like chatting online or some kind of a forum. It was only last year I came to realize that it do so much and it seem like everyone is into it.
I did a search on google trends to find which countries that is hot on blogging and here is what I have found.
Singapore topped the list and Malaysia is third, no wonder I can feel the heat everywhere around me. Blogging can be fun and challenging. There are endless variation to a blog and what it can do. Seeing your ranking move up and getting more people reading and commenting on your blog is the challenge and can be very satisfying.
For those new bloggers and bloggers wannabe, welcome to the blogosphere. It is a whole new way to communicate, share and connect with others globally. Imagine that one day you’ll be able to have millions of new friends and admirers but all of this has to begin with writing your first post. Start blogging today.
“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” -Lao Tze,Chinese philosopher (604 BC - 531 BC)
Being passionate about Network Marketing and Options Trading, has motivated me to write a book each on these subjects about six months ago. They are expected to be released first half on this year.
Prior to that I knew nothing about blogs and what blogging can do. It was one of my options trading students, Mag, who invited me to attend a seminar on internet marketing at an irresistible discounted price.
The seminar was a very general one as “internet marketing” seems to be a vast topic to cover in just two days. As usual they did try to sell you with all other materials and more detailed mentoring program.
“Blogging”, “Keywords” and “SEO” was briefly explained and I was astonished on how some can make a US$ six figure income monthly just by blogging. This alone caught my attention and I want to experiment it out. Being a person who likes the challenges, I bought two books on blogging and I was hooked.
I wanted on to register two domains, www.SuccessFaces.com and www.StreetSmartOptions.com to blog about the two topics that I am really good at. I went on to register and host my domains to begin my blogging experiment as I was told that it will support my book as my readers can get connected with me. Sounded like a good idea.
After three months of active blogging, regular posting and commenting on related blogs, I also managed to find lots of blogging information that will increase the traffic and the popularity of my blog.
I then followed some of the advice, only concentrating on traffic rather then income from adsense, I begin to sign up with most of the popular social networks. I was trying out with various plug-ins on my wordpress.
The “All in One SEO Pack” really can do wonders on getting listed on “Google Search”, while I was going through my stats in mybloglog, which I can actually see how other members came to my blog. Most of them came through google search and I was surprised to see that my options blog was listed on the first position when you searched “option trading get rich stories” on google search today. I was trilled as my little blogging experiment paid off so early, just three months.
Coming from a network marketing background I just can’t wait to share this wonderful news with those who are still finding out how. I hope the money will follow.
