According to “The Law of Attractions”, apparently there is a connection between wealth and gratitude, many wealth experts suggest that if you want to increase your wealth, you should be more grateful.
The idea is that by feeling more grateful, you are changing your emotional state of mind. Your feeling of becoming wealthier will therefore attract more abundance into your life. I don’t think that one can be wealthy and yet not being grateful. If you’re truly feeling grateful, you would probably be feeling wealthy too, regardless of your present circumstances.
Gratitude goes beyond your material possessions. It is a feeling of gratitude for your existence that you are brought into this world at this period of time for a purpose and everything you experience is for that purpose only.
With practice it will becomes a part of your personality and when you are there, even the idea of just being in existence, you will be grateful for it. Circumstances will become irrelevant to you because gratitude now is a matter of choice and not justification.
Whatever your dreams are, you’ll have to visualize it now in order to get that feeling of accomplishments so as to create these feelings now, even in the most unlikely circumstances, you will notice how you begin attracting these opportunities, and resources into your life. Start with being grateful now and you are going to attract wealth into your life.

The better way is to start is with “Gratitude”, to be grateful to whether that is present, which means now. You would agree that many people lives in the past, they linger on to the past memories. Some are past achievements or happy moments and most of them are usually sad or tragic moments. These people think that they do not deserved good things to happen to them, these beliefs are normally developed from guilt.
The purpose of “Gratitude”, by feeling more grateful, regardless of your emotional state is to develop the positiveness back into your life. The feeling of being alive again, and having the thought that life is full of hope. You may starts by being grateful for your job even though you may not like it cos it is better than jobless or being grateful for your wife even though she nags you always; at least she takes cares of your laundry. This will gives you the sense of appreciation for the things that you have. Only when you start to appreciates the people or things that you have, you’ll begin to see goodness in everything that is around you and you begin to discover that you have a propose in life.

I was born in Pahang from a rather poor family; both of my parents are daily wages dependent people. They were honest hardworking people but poor. We live in a rented house where it was shared with two other families. Life as a kid was great as there was so much fun as a kampong boy.
As I began to grow up a bit more I realized that there were differences between some others and me. Those live in the town had TVs (it was only black and white back then) and we had to cycle a few kms just to watch Ultra Man. Even though we did not have any luxury (except for a little radio which only operates on dry cells) I can say I have enjoyed my life very much as a kid.
Anything that I wanted, I’ll have to save it myself from my pocket money. I remember very well when I was in Form 3, “Smoke on the Water” was the No1 Hit and “Bell-bottomed” jeans were in fashion and many of my friends were wearing one. Incidentally I was motivated to have one too and I knew very well that I have to save the money myself.
It was the “In Thing” and I determined to get the money to buy one by myself. The most popular brands were “Amco” and “Levi’s” retailing at about RM40 and RM35 respectively. So I derived a plan and I have settled for a pair of “Madrid” which only RM28 because it is cheaper and easier to attain. My plan was pretty simple, every weekday I get 50¢ for my school lunch money and all I need is to save 20¢ and I’ll be able to save RM1 a week. All I needed was 28 weeks and I would be able to achieve my goal. It is going to take me half a year but I know surely that it is achievable.
Even though I did not make to the university, I can consider myself a pretty smart boy. 28 weeks seems like quite long and so I begin to look for a faster solution and I derived a plan B, I negotiated with my mom that if I go and help out in the rubber estate during the weekends I will get RM1 a day and she agreed. Now I am able to save up to RM3 a week and it would only take me 10 weeks instead of 28. I was excited and I did very well managed to save money and buy that pair of jeans. That experience was just unforgettable.
I believed many will have similar stories of your own but most of us have forgotten the principles of saving and now that we have grown up we are not able to do it. You see the mechanics are still very much the same only the numbers got bigger and because of that we limit ourselves that it is just not possible. If we can do it before we can do it now.
