Referring to my previous post on “Making Money From Blogging” I mentioned that there are various ways that you can make money from your blog. I have come across some successful bloggers posting on how actually they make the money from their blogs and the bulk of it comes from advertisements. Whether it is text linked, banners, affiliates or private ads, they all make up the majorities of their income.

What is important in relation to a piece of real estate’s price is the location. For a blog it is the traffic and everyone knows that. That’s the main reason why advertisers pay top dollars to high ranking blogs.

It’s all about exposure, the more visitors you have the more exposure you’ll have and putting a banner on your blog is like putting up a billboard along a busy highway. Selling advertisements is like collecting rentals form real estates. It can be very lucrative indeed.

There are numerous ways to increase your traffic and I have been experimenting on some of them. Joining a community site like “MyBlogLog” is one of them and it has been working out pretty well. I able to see the numbers of visitors increasing and the readers that joined my community have also grown in size and I am receiving more comments on my post.

I believe that if I keep on trying out what other successful bloggers are doing, I’ll be able to hit the right note sooner or later. My main focus now is concentrating on writing quality post and be a successful blogger and if I can do it well I believe the money will follow.
