Integrity is associated to various aspects of a person’s life. However, usually it relates to the general character of a person. It becomes the most important character that you must possess in becoming a network leader and as a person of influence. As a leader you must set the standard for others to follow, in the business and in the community.
People will want to be associated with other people who have integrity. They are the people who are always on time, people who keep their promises, and people who do what they say. Integrity is not just about telling the truth. It is about being what you say everyday.
Integrity builds trust and without trust, you have no foundation to build upon. Integrity is probably the most important ingredient in building the trust in other people.
Integrity also means that you never approach someone else’s prospect and steal distributors or businesses from another line of sponsorship and not even from your own downline’s network. These people have no shame of what they are doing and thought that no one will ever know. They will eventually lose their respect of the people in their network.
In no circumstances anyone should do that, for if you do you are sending a signal for disrespect and you will have no one to blame but yourself. You must set the right culture in your network and if you do it right, you will earn the respect of your people and become a great network leader.
“Real integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody’s going to know whether you did it or not” - Oprah Winfrey
